To prepare the baked goods you will need:

  • 250 grams of butter (can be replaced with margarine);
  • four chicken eggs;
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda;
  • 550-600 grams of premium wheat flour;
  • 250 grams of granulated sugar.

Let's start cooking:

  1. Chicken eggs need to be broken into a deep bowl. Add granulated sugar to them, then rub the mass with a fork until it turns white.
  2. Chop the softened butter or margarine into pieces of any size and shape. Add the ingredient to the eggs and granulated sugar.
  3. Sift the flour into a separate bowl, then add baking soda to it.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients of the future cookies thoroughly. Add the resulting mixture to the butter-egg mixture and knead the dough. The workpiece turns out thick, quite greasy and does not stick to your hands at all.
  5. Divide the dough into several parts, wrap each in a disposable bag and place in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  6. After the specified time, take out the workpiece, roll it out with a rolling pin into a thin layer (about 3-4 millimeters) and cut out cookies with a cookie cutter. You can use a regular glass, shot glass, or special devices in the form of stars, geometric shapes and hearts.
  7. Place the figures on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in a hot oven (200°C) for 10-15 minutes. If the dough is rolled out too thin, it will take less time.

Remove the finished cookies and cool to room temperature, then apply a glaze design to them.

For the sugar coating you will need:

  • two chilled egg whites;
  • 210 grams of powdered sugar.

Place the whites in a convenient bowl and start beating with a fork. When the product turns from transparent to white, add powdered sugar. This should be done carefully, adding the ingredient one teaspoon at a time. During the process, the mass should be whisked vigorously with a fork. You cannot use a mixer, otherwise you will end up with meringue instead of glaze. Gradually saturated with oxygen, the mass will turn into a fluffy, plastic, thick and viscous coating for cookies.

Checking the readiness of the glaze is quite simple. To do this, place a little mass in a small bag (made of tracing paper or parchment) with a hole. After this, you need to squeeze out a little glaze, trying to create an inscription or pattern with it. This should be done in a hair-thin stream. If the pattern does not blur, it means the glaze is ready. Otherwise, you must continue adding powdered sugar.

You can diversify the taste of cookies using cinnamon, vanilla, various extracts, cocoa or cardamom. If you use liquid honey, replacing some of the granulated sugar with it, the baked goods will acquire a magical aroma.

If you show a little imagination when decorating a dessert, you can create a real masterpiece of confectionery art. Chocolate or colored icing, almond flakes, mastic, whipped cream, marmalade, marshmallows and colored candies will help give the treat an exclusive appearance.

Very simple cookies, but no less delicious. You can bake it for Christmas or Easter, or for evening tea on a weekend. The finished cookies can be coated with glaze, chocolate or simply sprinkled with powdered sugar.


3 eggs, 1 glass of sugar, 200 grams of butter or margarine, 0.5 teaspoon of soda, about three glasses of flour.
I added another teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
Grind the eggs with sugar until white, add butter and flour with soda and cinnamon. Knead the dough well, divide it into three or four pieces and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll out thinly and cut out cookies with some kind of cookie cutter. As a child, we did this with a small glass or shot glass. Nothing has changed for me - I still don’t have any cookie cutters. Therefore, I made round glasses and used children’s sandbox molds - they turned out to be stars, leaves and months.
Roll the remaining dough again and put it in the refrigerator or immediately roll it out again.


Bake for a maximum of ten minutes. You have to be careful, otherwise they will burn, especially those that are rolled out very thin.

Fourth step. You should turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Meanwhile, while the oven is heating up, take a baking sheet, grease it with butter or line it with baking paper. To ensure that the cookies are the same size, you can use a teaspoon when placing them on a baking sheet.


Fifth step. Balls of dough are placed on the prepared baking sheet and by pressing the ball they turn it into a flat cake. If the oven is hot and the baking sheet is full, it should be placed in the oven. Oatmeal cookies will take 10-15 minutes to cook in the oven. After the oatmeal cookies have browned, remove them from the oven.


Before removing the cookies from the baking sheet, wait a couple of minutes for them to harden.
