Pie in a slow cooker with lingonberries and cocoa. Lingonberry pie in a slow cooker: recipe Lingonberry pie in a slow cooker
Step 1: Prepare the flour mixture.
Pour the flour and baking powder into a sieve and sift over a medium bowl. This process will saturate the first component with oxygen, which will help the dough become more airy and tender. In addition, we will get rid of unnecessary lumps, which is also important.Step 2: prepare the egg-sugar mixture.
Using a knife, break the shells of the eggs, and pour the yolks and whites into a deep bowl. Pour sugar here and, using a mixer, beat the ingredients at high speed until a thick light foam forms.
Step 3: Prepare the pie dough.
Pour the flour mixture into a container with the egg-sugar mixture in small portions. At the same time, beat everything with a mixer at medium speed. We do this until we have a homogeneous thick dough.
Step 4: prepare lingonberry pie in a slow cooker.
Grease the bottom and walls of the multicooker pan with a small piece of butter. Next, pour the dough here, and then spread the lingonberries in syrup in an even layer, leveling them with a tablespoon. Turn on "Baking" mode and bake the dish for 65 minutes under a tightly closed lid. When the allotted time has elapsed, a corresponding signal will sound. As soon as this happens, we do not rush to take the baked goods out of the multicooker, but check them for readiness. To do this, open the lid of the electrical appliance and pierce the dough in several places with a toothpick. If the wooden stick remains dry and without lumps of dough, then the cake is ready and you can take it out. If not, then close the lid of the multicooker and extend the time further for 7–10 minutes. But this usually doesn't happen, so don't worry.
At the end, we take out the baked goods using the steam tray and immediately transfer them to a special flat plate for serving. Let the dish become warm. To do this, we forget about its existence (no matter how difficult it is) and leave it aside.
Step 5: serve the lingonberry pie in a slow cooker.
Serve warm lingonberry pie to the dinner table along with tea or coffee, after cutting it into portions. The baked goods turn out very tasty and tender. By the way, if you have a desire, then you can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar. To do this, pour it into a small strainer and sift directly over the baked goods.
Enjoy your meal!
For such baking, instead of lingonberries in syrup, you can use fresh ones. In this case, be sure to rinse it in advance under running warm water and let it dry completely. Next, put the berries in a deep bowl and add a few tablespoons of sugar. Let the lingonberries stand aside for a while and release their juice. Only after this can we start preparing the pie. This way it will turn out much juicier and more aromatic;
To prepare the dough, instead of baking powder, you can use special baking powder or baking soda ( 1 teaspoon), slaked with table vinegar;
If you are using frozen lingonberries, then be sure to let them come to room temperature beforehand. To do this, simply pour it into a small bowl and leave it aside. Important: You should not speed up the process using a microwave oven, since after defrosting the berries can greatly lose their structure;
For a good airy dough, try to use premium and finely ground wheat flour. Try to purchase the component from trusted manufacturers, otherwise the cake may simply not rise and be raw inside.
For a long time I thought that it was inconvenient to make open pies in a slow cooker, but recently I was convinced of the opposite. I'll tell you how I make lingonberry pie.
Here are our main ingredients:
Butter can be replaced with margarine for baking, but I find that dough made with good butter tastes much better, so I use 82.5% butter. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave, and then add sugar to it.
Mix well or beat with a blender. Then add two eggs:
And mix well again. The oil should be hot, but not too hot, otherwise, of course, raw eggs will begin the cooking process much earlier than we need =)
Add flour and stir again.
Wash the lingonberries with warm water, remove the tails and leaves, if any. You can use cranberries or other berries instead of lingonberries.
Place the dough on the bottom of the multicooker. There is no need to lubricate the bottom with anything, there is a lot of oil in the dough and the multicooker bowl has a special coating - nothing will burn.
Carefully place the berries on top.
Set to “Baking” mode. I cook using a Philips slow cooker, so my baking time is 45 minutes. If you have a multicooker of a different brand, then it may take you a little more or a little less time to cook.
Of course, we look at the finished pie, but we don’t touch it right away! The berry gives juice and after baking the finished pie needs to stand for a few minutes, “settle”, the berry juice will be absorbed and then we will take it out.
The bowl with the finished pie can be slightly shaken so that the pie moves away from the bottom and walls. Next - everything is simple. We take a device for the double boiler mode (many multicookers have it), wrap it in a bag so as not to lose a single berry, put it on top of the bowl with the pie and turn it over.
Cooking in a slow cooker is always easy and simple, so cooking turns into true creativity. And when a fragrant and bright recipe is taken as a basis, then working in the kitchen becomes a joy. Ideally, it doesn’t take long to cook a lingonberry pie. This is a tender, airy and literally melt-in-your-mouth dessert. Lingonberry itself is a healthy berry that restores strength and strengthens the immune system. This is not the only recipe with lingonberries, but it is unique due to the ability to use both fresh and frozen berries for cooking in a slow cooker.
For morning tea
Don't have a fresh bun for breakfast? And I really wanted to pamper myself and my family! Look in the refrigerator - perhaps there are all the ingredients for a lingonberry pie in stock, which can be conveniently prepared in a slow cooker.
So you will need:
- Fresh or frozen berries - approximately 1 cup or 250 grams. You can mix lingonberries with another sweet, but not watery berry.
- We take granulated sugar keeping an eye on the taste of the berries. If they are sour, then you will need one and a half glasses. When using exclusively lingonberries, 200 grams will be enough.
- We also add 1 cup of wheat flour. If you take oatmeal, you can slightly reduce the dose. In fact, you will have enough flour even if there is some left at the bottom of the bag.
- Take 3 chicken eggs. This is the ideal dose, but can be halved or tripled if the pie is intended for a small family and can be flavored with warm milk or a spoonful of sour cream.
- For an airy dough, take 5 grams of baking powder or soda on the tip of a knife.
- Add a pinch of salt to balance the taste.
- Approximately 50 grams of starch for the cake to take shape.
- A piece of butter (to taste) will be useful for greasing the pan and making the cake more tender.
- Finally, vanilla, powdered sugar and a little coconut can be used for decoration.

Submission and tricks of the process
The recipe is surprisingly simple, but with a little creativity you can make it the highlight of your meal! Serve the pie with jam for tea, for breakfast - with powdered sugar, and for the feast, prepare a special sour cream sauce and pour it over the still hot pie.
The sauce recipe is also variable: mix medium-fat sour cream with sugar, vanilla and a piece of unflavored cream cheese. It is better to use a blender to blend the sauce. If the mass turns out to be too liquid, you can add a spoonful of starch to it. The sauce should be airy and have a consistency similar to condensed milk.
Pour it over the hot pie and let it cool for 30 minutes. You can flavor the top layer with a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa. For small children, you can crumble your favorite chocolate on top or grate it on a fine grater. If you plan to serve the lingonberry pie with a scoop of ice cream, then put it in the refrigerator and remove it immediately before serving. Bon appetit!
Lingonberry is a very healthy berry that contains vitamins A, B, C, E, copper, manganese and other beneficial substances. This berry is used for colds, to strengthen the walls of blood vessels, and for kidney diseases. It restores metabolism and is able to remove toxins from the human body.
