Galushki is a Ukrainian national dish based on dough. Dumplings are made from butter dough, which is rolled out into a rope with a cross-section of about 1 cm. They are cut into 0.5 cm slices, left to dry a little, and then boiled in salted water. Dumplings are formed from less steep dough using a regular spoon. We have prepared for you several recipes according to which you can prepare soup with dumplings in a slow cooker.

Soup with dumplings and mushrooms

Ingredients:

For the soup:

  • potatoes - 4 pcs
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • mushrooms – 200 gr
  • onions - 1 pc.
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
  • salt, spices, herbs to taste

For the test:

  • flour (determined by consistency during kneading)
  • milk – 200 ml
  • egg – 1 piece
  • soda – 1/3 tsp.
  • salt – 1 tsp.

Mushroom soup with dumplings step by step:

  1. Chop potatoes, mushrooms, onions, carrots.
  2. In the Polaris multicooker on the “Frying” mode, sauté the onions, carrots and mushrooms for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add potatoes, water, salt, spices to the vegetables and cook on the “Stew” mode for 40 minutes.
  4. While the potatoes are boiling, knead the dough: mix flour, egg, salt, soda in a bowl, and pour in the milk in parts and watch the density of the dough, it should not be too stiff.
  5. 10 minutes before the end of cooking, add the dumplings. To do this, first dip the spoon in hot water, grab the dough with it, immerse the spoon with the dough in the soup, the dough will immediately come off the spoon. After the required number of dumplings for the soup has been formed, add greens to it and cook until the end of the specified program.
  • mushrooms can be used fresh, frozen or dried. Dried mushrooms must be soaked in water before cooking;
  • Dough for dumplings can be prepared with either milk or water.
  • dumpling soup can be served with sour cream, herbs or garlic.

Soup with dumplings and chicken

Ingredients:

For the soup:

  • chicken (any parts) – 300 gr
  • potatoes - 4 pcs
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • onions - 1 pc.
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
  • salt, bay leaf, pepper

For the test:

  • flour (determined during kneading by dough consistency)
  • kefir – 50 ml
  • egg – 1 piece

Chicken soup with dumplings step by step:

  1. Place the chicken in the bowl of the Redmond multicooker and cook the broth on the “Soup” mode for 1.5 hours.
  2. Knead the dough from meat, eggs and kefir. Roll the dough into a rope and cut into pieces.
  3. Cut the potatoes into cubes, chop the onion, grate the carrots.
  4. Strain the broth, separate the meat from the bones.
  5. Pour oil into the multicooker bowl, add onions and carrots, fry the vegetables on the “Fry” mode for 10 minutes.
  6. Add potatoes, meat, salt, pepper, bay leaf to the vegetables, pour in the broth. You can add other spices to taste.
  7. Cook in the Redmond multicooker on the “Stew” or “Soup” mode for 40 minutes.
  8. 10 minutes before the end of cooking, place the dumplings into the bowl.

Tip: you can take the broth for the soup ready-made, or you can pre-cook it in a slow cooker from any bone-in meat.

Soup with dumplings came to us from Ukrainian cuisine. Do you remember with what pleasure and in what wonderful way Pot-bellied Patsyuk devoured dumplings from “Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka”? And this is not surprising, because dumplings are one of the varieties of dumplings. And it’s even difficult for me to say which of these soups turned out tastier. Recipe for pork soup with dumplings in a slow cooker.

Ingredients for pork soup:

  • 300-400 grams of pork
  • four potato tubers
  • one carrot
  • one medium onion
  • salt with spices and bay leaf
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower oil

Ingredients for dumplings

  • one hundred grams of cheese
  • one chicken egg
  • 25 gr. drain oils
  • two table. spoons of flour

How to cook soup with pork dumplings in a slow cooker:

Wash the pork and peel the potatoes. Let's cut them into cubes.

Pour sunflower oil into the multicooker and turn on the “baking” mode for 65 minutes. Fry the meat for 20 minutes.

While the pork is being fried, peel the onions and carrots and cut them into cubes.

We throw them in with the pork.

Fry them for another 5 minutes in the same mode under a closed lid.

Afterwards, place the chopped potatoes, salt and spices in a saucepan.

Fill with hot water. And cook for the remaining 40 minutes.

While the soup is cooking, let's make some cheese dumplings.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater and mix with a fork with softened butter, egg and flour.

We will get a cheese ball like this. Place it in the cold for 10 minutes.

We make dumplings from the dough with wet hands.

Throw the dumplings into the slow cooker 10 minutes before the soup is ready, and you can also add a bay leaf.

As soon as the multicooker beep sounds, open the lid and the finished cheese dumplings should float to the surface.

Soup with dumplings can be boiled in water, then it will be lean, in meat, mushroom, or fish broth. Children often don't like soups, but they rarely refuse this dumpling soup.   • 50 ml kefir or milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • pinch of soda (optional)

Prepare meat broth. Place the meat in a slow cooker, add water, set the “stew” mode for 1.5-2 hours. After this time, remove the meat on the bone and strain the broth. I usually cook the broth at night, and in the morning I make soup or borscht from it.

If you want to make this soup with chicken, then you can load everything into the slow cooker at once. Any part of chicken (today I will have chicken breast), diced potatoes, carrots, onions (I put the whole onion in the soup, then at the end of cooking I take it out and throw it away), bay leaf, salt.

Pour the water. Set the “quenching” mode for 1-1.5 hours.

While the broth is cooking in the slow cooker, prepare the dumpling dough from the listed ingredients. You can make a batter (a little thicker than for pancakes), scoop up the batter with a spoon and drop the dumplings into the boiling broth, as we did in this one.

Or knead a stiff dough, roll into a sausage and cut into small dumplings. As below photo shows:

6-7 minutes before the signal, add dumplings to the soup. Mix carefully, add salt if necessary, add seasonings to taste and cook until the end of the set time. Finely chopped fresh herbs can be added at the very end.

Probably the easiest dish to prepare is potato dumplings. I don't remember a dish that was so quick and easy to prepare. Potato dumplings are a tasty, satisfying and simple dish. It is usually served with cracklings, fried onions or sour cream. Personally, I like it better with sour cream, since sour cream has fewer calories and fat than fried onions or lard. I hope that you will definitely use my recipe and prepare potato dumplings in a slow cooker.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes (boiled in their jackets) – 400 grams;
  • Egg – 1 piece;
  • Flour - 1.5-2 cups;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Sour cream or fried onions - to taste.

Recipe preparation process

To prepare potato dumplings, we will use potatoes, egg, flour, salt and sour cream (fried onion).

Peel the potatoes and grate them on a fine grater.

Mix grated potatoes, salt and egg.

Gradually add flour.

Knead the dough well.

Cut the dough into two equal parts and roll each part into a sausage.

Cut the dough into pieces 3-4 cm thick.

Pour water into the pan and set the “Steam” mode for 10 minutes. Place salt and potato dumplings in boiling water. Boil them until the end of the cycle. Potato dumplings are usually served with fried onions, bacon or sour cream.

Soup with dumplings, dumplings, gnocchi - such a hearty dish is found in the cuisines of many nations. The process of preparing it, already easy, will be simplified even more if you use a multicooker. The advantage of cooking with this kitchen appliance is that the dumplings do not get soggy in the soup!

The secret is simple: in a multicooker you can select or adjust the cooking temperature. And if you set it a little below the boiling point, the soup will only simmer, thanks to which the dumplings will retain their pleasant appearance.

Bean dumpling soup is a cross between a classic dumpling soup and a pea or bean first course. It will turn out to be as satisfying and rich as pea, but will retain its transparency and lightness. It is best to use canned beans for this recipe, although you can also use boiled ones.

  • dried paprika 1 teaspoon
  • turmeric 0.5 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste.

How to make soup with bean dumplings

    Wash the chicken fillet and cut into large pieces. Place the meat in the multicooker bowl. Fill it with a small amount of water and bring to a boil (in the “Soup” mode).

    Then carefully drain the first water.

    Peel and dice the potatoes. Add the vegetable to the meat. Pour one and a half liters of hot water into the pan.

    Select the “Soup” multicooker operating mode and set the cooking time to 35 minutes.

    Now peel and finely chop the onion, cut the carrots lengthwise and then chop into slices.

    When the water boils, adjust the temperature by setting the value to 95 degrees.

    Add onions, carrots, and spices to the soup.

    Now, while the soup is cooking, start preparing the bean dumplings.

    Mix beans with egg.

    Add chopped herbs.

    Thoroughly beat the mixture with a blender until smooth.

    Add flour to the dough little by little, mixing it thoroughly.

    The dough should be a little thicker than for making pancakes.

    Using spoons, form dumplings and 10 minutes before the end of cooking the soup, add them to the multicooker bowl.

    Serve the finished dish hot, adding your favorite herbs if desired.
